    STATEMENT ABOUT IMPACT OF TARIFFS

We've just been notified by a key supplier that prices are increasing in the US due to tariffs, which isn't a shock. The changes are currently minor, and we'll absorb the costs as much as possibleThe impacted items - fabric and other apparel materials - are all affected.

We're holding out hope that prices will stabilize or drop once the tariff issue is resolved. However, Trump's actions will dictate what's next. He can bully Amazon and Walmart into ignoring the impact of tariffs – essentially government taxes that don't benefit consumers – but what he can't control is a broader movement among retailers and wholesalers to acknowledge the direct impact to the general public. So, we encourage other retailors and wholesalers to make a statement, be transparent, and tell their customers how they'll lose out if this continues. Some may be able to communicate how customers somehow win, and we hope that will be true. For most, it is not.
