MAGA-mites just can't help themselves

Right off the bat I'll say that I know djt didn't create this video himself. Even if something came out first on his social media accounts, I wouldn't believe he is really the one tapping a way to make an AI-generated video. He might want to. I just don't think he's skilled enough.

That's where the caveats end, because this is the perfect example of the degree of worship he's receiving, and my fellow Christians are cowering away from denouncing this. Here's a screenshot from what triggered this post.

This is an AI-generated video, which includes a golden statue of djt in Gaza.

So, the concept of building any golden statue of anyone in the Holy Land is just wrong. God expressly forbid it - even if the builder meant to honor the God of Abraham. The main scripture that motivates this site and its products is based on Daniel 3:18, where the 3 dudes absolutely refused to honor the oppressive Babylonian king who was requiring all to honor his graven image. "We will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up." And then the king tried to kill them. God protected their lives.

This sort of fantasy-based imagery is slipping into the realm of reality, as djt just feeds off of it. It's definitely a symbiotic relationship - djt and his loyalists.

The book of Daniel is largely considered apocryphal, and there are parts left out in non-catholic Bibles because the origins are either sketchy or considered "out of character" from the other chapters (often meaning someone tagged em on at a later time). As a whole, Daniel might be the most politically-themed books in the Christian Bible. Might be.

Anyhow, backing away from the lecturer's stand for a moment...

This golden image stuff is strikingly familiar to those who understand the warnings in the Bible about idolatry, false prophets, foreign gods, etc etc etc.

So, why don't many Christians see it? Y'all have been so busy trying to "avoid idolatry" by saying that you won't prioritize stuff like watching tv, various indulgences, and even your own family members. And yet, you let this slide? You even find it entertaining. Don't be proud of that. You should honestly feel great sorrow over this. I definitely do, and I'm obviously not a djt supporter.

The Bible says that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, but that's not a license for ignorance or blatantly supporting a heathen's rise to power. You honestly probably should be condemned, but let's be clear - God holds the judgment call on that. Don't take advantage of His mercy though. He has it in endless supply, but He is not required to give it.

It's time for you to decide where you stand. Will you continue to side with this promotion of god-like status for djt, or will you get back to the business of honoring God? You cannot do both.
